Sorry!

Hey!

Sorry it took me so long to write again. Been crazy busy. School, exams, graduating, stable, friends etc.

Well, as I mentioned, I graduated and it was sooo sad! I miss school, teachers (especially one...) and all my friends. Gonna be really scary to start a whole new school.

Anyhow, being at the stable is always alot of fun, and now that it's summer I'm not there as much.. But I am gonna work at Hove at this camp for a week. That's gonna be fun! =D

Oh, and I also competed in my first show jumping competition. Was only at the stable so nothing official or anything, but it was great!!!

Not much to write today, but I uploaded a pic of me and Teodor.<3

Hi! :O

I had totally forgotten about blogger.com! As you see, I haven't written in months!
Sooo much has happened..
First of all, I'll start off where I ended the last time. I thought I might begin by filling you in; We went to Germany to see the launch of Anastacia's clotthing line. It was great fun, and I can't believe it!! We went to the store at 5.30 am and we were the first people to arrive. We saw some men working on the stage and everything, it was so cool! We met some fans, amongst them Freaky, who is a well known Anastacia fan! Eventually, I spotted some other fans whom I've met before, and they actually showed up right behind me. I turned around, and there they were! What a shock. Was great to meet them again and we took pictures, talked and waited.
After a while, we saw Patrice, Ana's ex-boyfriend, and he actually interviewed me! (He works for MTV Germany). He was reeeally HOT! and super sweet. Seems like a very nice guy. We waited and waited for Anastacia to arrive and when people started seeing the bus, the crowd went crazy. The show was actually gonna be outside the store, so alot of people had turned up and it was just so great! First the models walked up the red carpet and on stage. Then it was Anastacia's turn. She spent time with the fans at the front row, signing pics and everything. When she came to us, we were crying so bad and it was just so unreal. She posed for a picture with us and the press took it. It came in the newspaper the next day. We also bought lots of Ana's clothes. :D Best vacation ever, so far!

And I went back to Germany in the beginning of October, with my choir. Was a very fun trip with alot of great people! We were in Bremen and Heide Park etc.

I've also been really busy with school, the stable and other stuff.

I'm at the stable 3 days a week now. Monday's, Wednesday's and Saturday's. I sort of "own" a horse every Saturday. It's really great. His name is Teodor (Theodor) and he is a fjord (fjording). He's very beautiful.

I will write more next time and post some more pictures from the stable and stuff like that! Stine is coming on Thursday too, so that will be really great! Can't wait to see her again.

Later! xxx

I've been lazy:P

So, it's been quite a long time since I blogged. I know, I've been very lazy. I'm sorry! Haha.
Anyway, summer has been great and it has had a few highlights so far, but the best is yet to come.
On July 7th(also my birthday) my best friend, Stine, finally arrived. She is also an Anastacia fan and I hadn't seen her since the concert in August 2005. Missed her alot! So, she spent an amazing week her and we had so much fun! We went to the movies and saw Poseidon(great movie, I recommend it) and we rented a couple of movies, we baked cake(which ended up burnt on the top, but still quite good), we went shopping and we just talked. I can't wait to see her again, which will actually be NEXT WEEK!!!! Yes, next week! Well, it's this week..I think XD She's arriving on Sunday the 13th, and on Tuesday the 15th, we leave for Germany! We're going on our first vacation together! And man, what a vacation! We're going to Germany because of the launch of Anastaia's clothing line and I can't wait to see her again. I miss her soo much! It's going to be some sort of fahsion show to reveal Anastacia's clothes and Anastacia herself will be presenting them(I think.)
I'm gonna make sure that I take lots and lots of pictures to show when I get back. I will also write a loong(gonna try anyway) review! :D

Anastacia concert!

Me and Chantal ^^

Well, we left from Norway at 6.30 and we were very excited! The boat to Denmark was so delayed and I was getting more and more crazy lol. When we finally got on the boat, we had 4 long hours a head of us, but luckily we had a cabin so we could sleep! Finally, we got off the boat and we were off to find Randers. After driving for something which seemed like forever we finally found a sign that would lead us to Randers. We arrived in the town, and didn't exactly know where to drive to find out hotel. After asking 2 people, we found it, and my friend, Helena, and I ran straight to the stadion. I couldn't find Chantal and Mandy(from the Sony mb) and I was getting so nervous. I texted Chantal and I said I was by entrance C, and couldn't find them. In the mean time, we had forgotten our tickets at the hotel and it was so stressful to get a hold of my mom so that she could come to us with them. Finally she came, and then I saw Chantal coming towards us! We hugged, and I don't think anyone of us could believe we were right next to each other after chatting on msn for so long! After she had said hello to my mom and my sis, we went straight to the venue! There, we met Mandy. I also got to know Kim from AFU. And I saw Ka and Diane. Right before six o'clock they opened the gates, and we started running inside! People were crazy! lol. The security looked through our bags and they took the doritos that we were gonna throw up on stage for ana! They even had to feel our bodies :S whahaha. When we were through the security I grabbed Helena's hand and we ran as fast as we could, (well I ran, Helena was dragged by me haha) towards the stage, and we got GREAT places at the front row, in the middle of the stage. When we waited for the support acts to start, we had fun, talking, taking pics, and being photographed of different papers etc haha! Le Freak was cool, and it got us warmed up. By the time the second support act was on, we were tired after Le Freak, so we saved our energy for Ana.
FINALLY, Ana came on stage, and ppl went crazy!! I burst into tears, and Ana started with Paid My dues! (Can't remember the correct order of the setlist though, hopefully someone else can) She sounded amazing and she looked so beautiful and happy! The atmosphere was awesome, especially at the front row, where her true fans were. We had a banner where it said: "Thx 4 finally bringing us together! Holland + Norway. we love u!

She talked alot and sounded really great! The last song she did was Left Outside Alone (I think, if I can remember it right) Chantal hunnie: Just wanted to say that it was so amazing to meet you! I love you so much, and I will never ever forget our first meeting!! It was the best day ever, and it won't be the last time we meet! You're such a sweet and caring girl, my lovely big sis! Can't wait to next summer, if you can come and visit me then! Miss you so much already sweety! Love you!! xxxxx Also, Mandy: Was awesome to meet u hunnie! hope we will meet soon again! Love u! xxxx This was the best day ever! The concert was better than last time, I can't believe I've seen her twice, I was so close to her! Omg it's like a dream!

Mandy was on the front page and the headline was:HOLLANDS(OR HOWEVER U SAY IT WHAHAHA) AND NORWEGIANS IN FRONT ROW!and it also said: It was controlled hysterics, when the first concert guests was let in on the concert area by the stadion, where Jacob Sveistrup, Le Freak and not least Anastacia performed tonight. Huge Anastacia fans from Holland, Switzerland and Germany had spent up to 20 hours by bus, before they reached Randers. But they were excited and didn't mean that tiredness would be a factor. "She gives us life energy" several of them said.We got in the paper too, here's the pic! I've put a ring around Helena, me and Chantal:

Underneath the pic it said:"They had travelled a long way in bus. Several of them both from Norway and Holland. As an award they got front row at the concert with Anastacia, which they applauded with a flag from her home country" (Summit like that lol)'

Anastacia

Well, most people in Europe, and all around the world(except the US) knows who Anastacia is, or have at least heard of her.
For people in the US, who haven't heard of this lovely lady, I dedided to take some time, and write about her:

Anastacia Lyn Newkirk was born on September 17th 1973, in Chicago, Illinois. She was born into a loving family, with a broadway acting mother, Diane, and a club singing father, Robert. She has an older sister, Shawn, and a younger brother, Brian.
When she was 13, she found out she had Chrons Disease and she had to have a surgery to remove parts of her colon. That's why she has the long scar on her stomach.
At the age of 14, Anastacia's parents got divorced and she moved to New York with her mother and siblings.

That was a bit about her earlier years, here's her official biography, taken from anastacia.com :

After an incredible five years, Anastacia has decided to pause, take stock and look back on a time in her life she could never have imagined in her wildest dreams. From the unimaginable highs of multi-million selling records to the almost devastating lows of illness, Anastacia has seen it all since she released her debut album, 'Not That Kind', back in 2000. She has lived, loved, suffered and poured out her heart and soul on her three albums, but the time now seems right to start a new phase and discover what life has in store next. Before she moves on, she has decided to recap her unbelievable story so far in a stunning greatest hits collection, 'Pieces Of A Dream'. It is a story that has taken her round the world, given her the strength to overcome almost any obstacle thrown in her path and seen Anastacia emerge as one of pop's most respected performers.

Born in Chicago and raised in New York, Anastacia has been singing as long as she can remember and spent years performing wherever she could, wowing everyone who heard her with her spectacular, powerful vocals. After finally signing with Epic Records, she released her debut recording, 'Not That Kind', in 2000 and watched it explode throughout Europe, propelling her to immediate stardom. Her 2002 release, 'Freak Of Nature', only built on this growing phenomenon and, since then, Anastacia has sold an incredible 20 million albums worldwide, with 3 million of those in the UK alone. She has also scored an impressive 12 hit singles, three of them top ten smash hits, won countless international awards and completed a major European tour. With her huge voice and infectious personality, fans fell in love with her because she was loud, brash and in your face, but also grounded, passionate and true - something that is always reflected in her music.

In January of 2003, Anastacia confirmed to the world that she had breast cancer and for a brief moment it all stopped. Typically, though, she indicated she would not let it stop her from doing what she loved. Prior to her surgery, in February 2003, Anastacia appeared on a closed set in New York, for the filming of 'Love Is A Crime' for the Chicago Soundtrack and ploughed through the 2-day taping, though the strains of illness were showing themselves to all around her. During the difficult months that followed, Anastacia cried, laughed, fought, sang and wrote with a passion she had never known before. She remained true to her words to her fans that "her resolve to fight was strong" and she emerged as the survivor everyone already suspected she was.

In September 2003, Anastacia entered the studio with Grammy-award winners Glen Ballard, Dallas Austin, and Dave Stewart and began what the singer referred to as a "difficult creative journey." Warned by her doctors that she would be physically drained from her treatment Anastacia stood prepared, as feisty as ever, to fight through whatever stood in her way. Reality check. "The experience was not pleasant," said Anastacia. "I usually look for the bright side of things, but so far nothing about making this record was positive for me. My doctor told me I'd be tired, not stupid," said Anastacia. "I could not focus on anything. I'd write a verse and then I couldn't write the chorus or I'd write the chorus but couldn't write the bridge. I couldn't talk, I couldn't think straight, I was totally out of it - the doctor's said I'd be tired - but of course I had insomnia. It was tough."

Yet, after nearly six months recording, Anastacia released a self-titled album that entirely reflected the reality of her life's experiences and the raw emotion that had accompanied every one of them. Affectionately dubbed 'sprock music' by Anastacia (soul, pop, rock), it showcased a fresh sound, a greatly matured songwriter and lyricist and more unforgettable vocal performances that have become Anastacia's signature.

"I wanted to move more towards a rock sound for this record and it really has added so much to this recording," said the singer. "The feel of the music, the beat, of many of the songs really has offset some of the subject matter of the lyrics."

From a straight-ahead rocker like 'Time' to the vocal passion and inventiveness of tracks such as 'Left Outside Alone' and 'Sick-n-Tired' to the stirring and poignant sincerity of 'Heavy On My Heart', Anastacia bared her soul and let her fans into her most personal thoughts. "I was aware of what I was writing, of what was flowing from my heart and I was aware that people listening might be reading into the subject matter of the songs," said Anastacia. "I challenged myself both lyrically and melodically to stay true to those feelings and at the same time to use them in a positive way. You see, I need to see life through rose coloured glasses and while that view might have been clouded at times while writing some of these songs, I hoped that people would see that and feel that."

Her fans did not disappoint. 'Anastacia' went on to sell an amazing 1.2 million in the UK and was certified platinum, making it the sixth biggest selling album of 2004. It led to one of the singer's most busy and successful years yet, gaining a whole new set of fans along the way and proving that nothing was going to get in her way.

Now, after such a life-changing period, Anastacia is ready to start a whole new phase of her career. Her struggles to get a record deal, write a third album and overcome such horrific illness are behind her and she is ready to start a new adventure. To mark the change, she plans to release the ultimate greatest hits collection, 'Pieces Of A Dream'. As well as all twelve of the singer's hits, it includes four new and exclusive tracks including compelling forthcoming single, also called 'Pieces Of A Dream', 'In Your Eyes', 'I Belong To You' with Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti and 'Everything Burns', a duet with Evanescence front man Ben Moody that featured on the recent soundtrack to blockbuster The Fantastic Four.
(Pieces Of A Dream was released in November 2005)

'Pieces Of A Dream' will also feature an exclusive ten minute mega mix of all Anastacia's hits, while the deluxe two CD version of the album will include thirteen full length remixes.

It is a fitting summary to an exceptional era in Anastacia's life and an indication that the world can still expect plenty more from the little lady with the big, big voice.

After reading this, I hope that all of you can understand why I think she is such an amazing and strong woman, and after hearing her music, and listening to the lyrics, I hope you will become a fan. Anastacia really writes from her heart and her feelings, and she is so down to earth. Her music inspires fans around the world and we, the fans, love her more than anything!
Also, when she performes she has a connection with the fans, that is so unbelievable, and to understand it, you have to be there, I think. She really has the whole audience with her when she is on that stage. It's amazing!
